Australia is full of amazing habitats!
From the dry, red Outback to leafy eucalyptus forests—and even the coral wonders of the Great Barrier Reef.
At Brussels Animal Park, we’re bringing a little bit of Australia to life with a habitat inspired by the eucalyptus forest and the Outback. You might even spot an emu strutting by!

G-day! Did you know my home, Australia, is bursting with some of the world’s most unique plants and animals?
That’s because we’ve been isolated for millions of years! Just like my cousins the kangaroos, I’m a marsupial—which means my babies grow up safe and snug inside a pouch.

Hola! I'm a coati, and I come from the wild and wonderful continent of South America!
From steamy rainforests to high mountain forests, my home is full of surprises. I use my long nose to sniff out tasty treats, and my tail helps me balance as I climb through the trees.
At Brussels Animal Park, you’ll discover a slice of South America—colourful, lively, and full of curious creatures like me!

South America is one of the most diverse places on Earth!
From the steamy Amazon Jungle to the wide, grassy Pampas of Argentina, this continent is full of amazing animals and wild landscapes.
At Brussels Animal Park, we’re bringing South America to life with two special habitats—one lush and green like the rainforest, and one open and breezy like the Pampas. Keep your eyes peeled for curious coatis and colourful birds!

Did you know snowy owls can see nearly as well during the night as they do during the day? At Brussels Animal Park, you can meet me and learn about the amazing wildlife of Europe’s winter wonderlands!

With my huge ears and sandy fur, I’m built for life in the desert. Even though the Sahara looks empty, it’s full of amazing wildlife! From beetles and snakes to desert birds and mammals like me, life here finds clever ways to survive the heat.
At Brussels Animal Park, you’ll get a peek into the wild world of Saharan Africa—and maybe even spot me napping in the shade!
